Select was a seminal music magazine from the 1990s. One of its journalists, Stuart Maconie, now a BBC6 Music DJ, coined the phrase ‘britpop’. The style was always a bit clunky, but the content provided the key documentation of an important era in music. I chose to revive and reinvent this magazine as a hand curated digital publication.

Adopting a punk fanzine aesthetic throughout, Select will deliver a monthly review in music, including gig reviews, album reviews and up-and-coming artists.
